Cannot restore window after minimize

Teracopy running on Windows Server 2022, connecting remotely via RDP.

Sometimes clicking on Teracopy on the task bar after it has been minimized it will not restore the window. I have to go into task manager, expand Teracopy, select the child item and right-click Switch To for it to work.

I’ve noticed this too on Windows 11. I have an 8k TV screen attached to my computer, (with resolution set to 4k, and the magnification level set to 200%) and when I turn off the monitor (with Teracopy still running,) and then turn on the monitor again, Teracopy will have resized itself (its window,) and if I try to move it, it just moves itself off the screen.

I’ve found that the only workaround is to put your mouse on the Teracopy program on the taskbar, let the “preview” window of the program appear above the taskbar, then move your mouse onto it, then right click, and select MAXIMIZE. The program will then be on the window. If you try to WINDOW the window (not minimize or maximize it, - the other one,) Teracopy will again disappear from the screen. But if you grab the title bar and move it to the left or tight side of the screen, it should enter WINDOWED mode ON the desktop.

Just a bug that needs fixing and a workaround I’ve discovered.

I’ve encountered the same thing, but I’ve found that after maximizing the window in the way you described, I actually can click on the normal windowed mode button to de-maximize it.
