Queue System
How Jobs Are Handled
Parallel Execution (Default)
Multiple file transfer jobs can run simultaneously
The system allows up to a configured maximum number of parallel jobs
Jobs start immediately if there's capacity
Queue Chains (Sequential Execution)
When you queue a job "after" another job, they form a chain
Jobs in a chain run one after another, not simultaneously
Useful when you want specific order or to avoid resource conflicts
When Jobs Get Queued Automatically
Device Conflicts
The system can detect when jobs involve the same storage device
To prevent performance issues, it may automatically queue jobs on the same device to run sequentially
This behavior depends on your settings (all devices vs. slow devices only (e.g. HDD))
Capacity Limits
If the maximum number of parallel jobs is already running, new jobs wait in queue
When a running job completes, the next waiting job starts automatically
User Controls
Force Start
You can override the queue system and force a job to start immediately
Useful when you know the system resources can handle additional jobs
Manual Queueing
You can explicitly queue a job to run after another specific job
Creates a chain where jobs execute in your chosen order
Available in TeraCopy 4 RC 2.

What is the delimiter for ‘force fast’ and ‘force slow’ devices. Also, can I use UNC here, or only Windows complete paths?

Comma (,)
Any string will work (C, C:, C:\Path, \\server, etc)

It seems like the queuing doesnt properly work? I’ve set the limit on 1, but pressing “next” on transfer list thats already added starts them immediately.
Adding via context menu seems to put them into queue. But if you then stop them, and then try to restart them, they will skip the queue and just start at once.
I dont even have the option to “force start now”.
So the queue only seem to work properly when adding them into TeraCopy, not when the file list is already there (and in history).
Pressing “Next” in v3.17 just added the transfer into the end of the queue, so here something has changed into RC4

There are still issues with the queue not respecting the order. Right click and “queue after …” sometimes does nothing. And the issue with stopping and then starting a task will start the file transfer, even if the threshold of file transfer is met.
In addition “clear history” also still clears the queue, not just the history. Only the active transfers are kept.
Also sometimes the file info are not properly loaded into the queue, so we get a negative counter in time left.
Theres also no “total number of files” in the transfer info window. Its done and total size, and done files, but no form for “files remaining” as in the pre version 4.

Unfortunately, this makes RC 4 unusable when queueing multiple large transfers as it attempts all the transfers at once.
